Missouri PTA is very proud of the Westridge Elementary PTA! Of 474 applications from 47 states, Westridge was one of only 22 units from 13 states to win a Healthy Lifestyles Grant of $1,000.00 from National PTA. Westridge is part of the Raytown C-2 school district in Kansas City.

The only PTA from Missouri to win this grant, Westridge Elementary held a special event for families on November 11th. Their children had participated in a healthy recipe contest and winners were announced at the event. Valuable information was provided to parents and door prizes were awarded. Unit president Ramona Shull opened the meeting, sharing information about the grant.
