2011 Child Abuse Prevention Summit

Prevent Child Abuse Missouri, a program of Missouri KidsFirst, will host their 4th annual Child Abuse Prevention Summit on December 8th in Columbia.  This year, Rus Funk, MSW, will be the featured speaker.  Rus is a consultant specializing in violence prevention, cultural competence and anti-oppression.  He has 25 hears experience in domestic and sexual violence, including work with adult and adolescent sex offenders, adult and child victims, battered women and their children, and adult batterers.  The focus of the summit will be on community organizing and community mobilization.  If you are interested in attending please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
