Million Hours of Power Campaign

Today's changing family structure calls for more dads and father figures to become involved in the life of a child. To engage more men we have developed the "Million Hours of Power -- Give a Little, Change a Lot!" It's a campaign to inspire men throughout America to collectively dedicate at least one million hours of service to the health, education, and well-being of America's youth during a single school year.

Our partners for the campaign include the National Fatherhood Leaders Group and members of PTA MORE
(Men Organized to Raise Engagement) who are on a mission to get men around the country to get more men involved and produce more positive outcomes for children.

Our goal is 350,000 men, each volunteering three hours of service to produce more than one million hours of volunteer
service to America's children during the 2010-2011 school year. The children they serve may be their own or those of their extended family and community.

Here's how to log your volunteer hours:

Volunteers who want to log their hours toward PTA's Million Hours of Power Initiative can go to the Million Hours of Power surveyhosted by the National Center for Fathering. For more information, go to PTA.org/millionhours.
