. Posted in Health and Wellness

The National Children’s Study will examine the effects of environmental influences on the health and development of 100,000 children across the United States, following them from before birth until age 21. The goal of the Study is to improve the health and well-being of children. National PTA has shown support for this study as it is believed that the study will benefit the health and well-being of children.

The National Children’s Study is led by a consortium of federal partners including: the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (including the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, of the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
