School Community Tips

  • Place an invitation to join PTA on the teacher's and administrator's desk on the first day of school
  • Request a bulletin board at your school to showcase your activities

Parents and Families

  • Develop a flier detailing your past accomplishments for the last 2 years
  • Communicate - any way you can! Schedule meetings and events for convenience
  • Seek out men as well as women - give a membership as a gift on a holiday

Communities at Large

  • Ask businesses and companies to include packet materials on PTA to new employees
  • Visit other organizations and hand out materials on PTA - showcase your unit's accomplishments
