PTA Founder's Day
PTA Founders Day, February 17, is a reminder of the substantial role that PTA has played locally, regionally, and nationally in supporting parent involvement and working on behalf of all children and families. It's a time to renew our commitment to be a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education.

Thomas Ultican Elementary Gets Moving
Thomas Ultican Elementary PTA got more than 175 of their students and families moving on February 4th. Each February TUE hosts a health fair in celebration of Heart Healthy month. Activities include an obstacle course, giant inflatable slide, judo, soccer, tug of war, and a huge game of Simon Says which includes jumping jacks and toe touches! They serve healthy snacks of fresh fruits to keep everyone energized during the event. According to TUE PTA President Rob Thomas, the event is about teaching a healthy lifestyle, giving demonstrations that families can continue at home and playing!
GREAT JOB THOMAS ULTICAN PTA! For additional details about the TUE Health Fair look for the article in the upcoming May, 2010 issue of your CONTACT magazine.
