NSBA speaks out on bullying at Washington events

Last week, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted the White House Conference on Bullying Prevention to bring more awareness to the harm of school bullying and ways to prevent it.

NSBA President Earl C. Rickman III joined about 150 advocates, students, and parents to discuss ways to make schools and communities safer for all students. The White House announced a new website, www.stopbullying.gov, that will compile research and resources and guide those who have been bullied to find help.
